This restaurant in Porto has a private capital feel, but perhaps that's the price you pay in Portugal to eat well without having much knowledge of more local places. We ordered “Our Cod ‘With All’: Confited Cod Loin, Vegetable Gratin, Egg and Béchamel”, which cost 25 euros. The dish was acceptable, but the consistency and flavor were more reminiscent of baby food than a 25 euro dish. The only thing they did well was desalting the cod at the right time. However, the dish lacked color, flavor and different consistencies.
We also ordered the “Tiger Shrimp: Flamed Tigers, Handmade Tagliolini With Shrimp Butter” for 27.90 euros, which consisted of a tiger shrimp with pasta in a butter sauce. The shrimp was very good. We were genuinely interested in knowing where the shrimp came from, whether it was caught in the seas of Portugal, imported or farmed. The employee’s response, with a disdainful attitude, was: “It comes from the sea.” When we asked again, we were told it was imported from South Africa.
For starters, we tried “Stained Scallops: Smoked Duck Magret, Shallot Purée and Lemon Gel” (13.40 euros) and “Azores Tuna Tartar: Tomato Gazpacho and Salicornia” (14.50 euros). Both were very good and we highly recommend them.
We wanted to try different wines by the glass and asked the waiter for recommendations each time we changed glasses. The waiter always seemed uncomfortable with this and insisted a few times that we buy a bottle of something. The first recommendation was the house white wine, a dry and clean white, but without much character. The remaining wines, despite the difficulty in obtaining them, were very good.
The dessert was a dream: caramelized figs with gorgonzola ice cream. It was the best ending to the night we could ask for.
Despite all the setbacks and negative points in the main dishes, we would return, as it is difficult to find a quality restaurant in Porto. We paid around 150 euros for everything.

Very slow service, we waited for 1 hour for the food, we were among the first to arrive and the last to be served.
Food is good and well prepared.

Very good. Excellent food, efficient and friendly staff and a very pleasant atmosphere.
I went with my young son and he also really enjoyed it.
As a starter we ate a tuna tartare which was divine. Afterwards, he had a beef wellington and I had a beef tartare. Both very good. Dessert, an abbey of priscos and a chocolate cake, well, as far as I know, the sweet never tasted bitter?.

I was a little disappointed because it is a restaurant that had been highly recommended to us. It is in the Foz area, far from the most touristy parts of Porto. We ordered a ravioli as a starter which I didn't think was anything out of this world and cod as a main course. I didn't like the latter, it had a rather strong and unsophisticated flavor. I say that I eat cod frequently in both Spain and Portugal and this one did not seem to me to be up to the standard of a high-class restaurant. Maybe we ordered wrong, but in any case I don't recommend it.

It remains a great restaurant, but the menu has remained the same for too long, always the same and the service does not match the price. It's worth going from time to time, but it's far from being the best in Porto, a position it once held

Bife "au poivre" was one of the tastiest if not the tastiest steak I have ever eaten. (The portion comes usually with potatoe gratin and not with french fries like my portion) Chocolate cake was really amazing too. Very friendly service.

Worthy of its Michelin star. Comfort and familiar dishes done to perfection. The puff pastry on the lobster bisque was tissue thin but thick with flavour! Beef Wellington is superb and tiger prawn taglilini was pure umami heaven cooked in prawn butter!!
