Found this place on our first night in Porto and ended up going back for seconds because the food was so good. The dishes sound simple but they are all very flavorful. We tried the padrón peppers, clams, fried sardines, sea bream, grilled octopus, salads and I would recommend all of them! One thing to note is that this place is cash only but they do have an ATM right outside.
Little hidden gem of Porto. We stumbled upon it completely by chance but we were really fascinated by it. The bolinhos de bacalhau are highly recommended, awarded as the best in the city and rightly so. Also highly recommended is the bacalhau á gomes de sá, a dish based on cod with boiled potatoes, eggs and onions, seasoned with cumin, truly delicious. The owner was kind and affable and also went out of her way to explain the dishes, their preparation and the traditions relating...
It's rare that I give a review, but if you want to feel comfortable and enjoy an excellent meal with a loving waitress, you have to come here.
