A place of relaxation far from the crowds where the welcome is family and typical Portuguese, just like the menu offered, for this evening it was Francesinhas and homemade dessert pudim and bolo de Lima...a treat.
Place to discover absolutely!!
Equipped and fully equipped parabens!?

Nice place to eat francesinhas. Good quality, good prices and the waitress is super attentive. We went for lunch and ate in the front terrace.
It may not be one of the most famous places to eat francesinhas but it definitely has nothing to envy from the other places!

This place, more than 10 years ago, had really lovely minced meat pastries -called pastéis de Chaves.
I went back in the hopes of tasting them again but sadly these were the worst pastries I ever had. Oozing grease, witha rancid foul smell, the mince smelled like roadkill and, as soon as you pick up this "crime of a pastry" it literally falls spart because it is soggy puff pastry drenched in rancid oil. I could even put it in my mouth.

The servers are really friendly, but the food is average.
There weren't many menu options available for breakfast, so I ordered the basic Françaisina, but it was too salty. It was also ordinary.

Very good location and close to the center. You can tell that it is a traditional bar and the cream pastries are delicious.

Very nice, cakes in Spanish means something else, I went with one idea and it turned out another, but I still liked it a lot.

Everything is very good there, from starters to desserts. Typical Portuguese dishes at very reasonable prices. Very pleasant welcome. I will return there with great pleasure

There is no cod á brás, and the one with cream had a lot of potatoes and VERY little cod. The rest was very good, the service was great.

In Porto, the Chaves pastries as if we were there.Folars in Ponto Pequeno (also from Chaves) are a specialty. There is nothing to be missed with regular visits to this house.

The vegetarian Francesihas was delicious and cooked with love. Service was wonderful as we were made to feel so welcome. Highly recommended.

Vegetarian options: Cabbage and carrots work so well in this dish. The tomato sauce is out of this world.
