Very nice and quiet environment. Good for private chats. Foods are good too with reasonable price. Excellent service! Will go again.

Good food, good value, lovely service What more would we want? It’s a little gem of a place! We had different main courses and they were all good. The sea bream was so fresh, the bean and meat stew was delicious, the bachalau croquettes were good and the pork chop was great. All served with a bit of salad, rice and potatoes. The vegetable soup was homemade - came with bread. Choice of 2 deserts. Wine (or beer) and coffee included Price for all that ranged from €9.90 to €14. Great place

Lovely little place in a side street in the middle of Porto. Simple ‘Prato do Dia’ with a few choices. I had the pork and it was excellent. My wife had the chicken - also very good. Great service - very friendly and really great price. Less than €10 each Inc 3 courses, wine/beer and coffee. Highly recommended.

The best deal you could get in Porto. Ordered the beef and pork (stewed pork was incredible), and was pleasantly surprised to find soup entree, drinks and dessert were included! All this for under 20€. Reccomend to anyone wanting a hearty home-style meal.

First visited this fabulous little restaurant seven years ago. At that time it was so good I visited a second time. And now? Just as good as it was. For less than 10 euros a fabulous lunchtime meal: soup, main course, dessert, wine, coffee. All freshly made and tasty. For the price there can be no complaint about either quality or quantity. Local restaurant. Kind people and also very cheap. Great local experience. Would definitely recommend other people.

At the incredibly affordable price point (7.90€ for 3 courses and an alcoholic drink) I really could not fault Novo Mondo. The food was tasty and filling. The service was snappy and friendly. Overall, a wonderful restaurant tucked away on a pretty little Porto street.

It was worth the wait. Great. food at a ridiculously low price. Soup, bread, wine, main and dessert for 9..40 euros. The fish was perfectly cooked. If you’re in Porto, you must try it. CASH ONLY

We have tried several times before on our trips to Porto to dine at this wonderful traditional establishment. It’s family run who are lovely and welcoming. The food is soup, a choice of three mains and dessert. €7.90!! Would highly recommend anyone to dine here. We loved it!

A good typical little gargotte. Interesting not for the gastronomy but for the local culture.
