We saw Casario on one of the local magazine in our hotel and then again on visiting Porto FB group for a list of restaurants with a good view of the river. We chose to sit outside with a fantastic view of the Ponte Luiz bridge and the nearby street performance. The food was good. We ordered stuffed squid with sausage, Parmentier and Porco Bisaro. When the pork belly arrived, the friendly server said that it is better to move to another table closer to the wall because the sea gulls also love it too. Not even 10 seconds after the warning, a sea gull did approach us very closely.

Good location on the riverfront, try to get one of the tables on the terrace. The food was nice but I would not recommend the 'surprise' tasting menu - very overpriced and the dishes were all taken from the a la carte, so it would have been much cheaper if we'd just ordered off the main menu.
We also felt quite rushed at the end because they'd only allocated 2 hours and the service was quite slow - there were quite a few people waiting for our table. Another reason not to go for the tasting menu!
Overall though, I would still recommend Casario as the food and location are good.

It was the best time in Porto. The restaurants on the first floor were very crowded and crowded, but since this is the second floor, it is relatively quiet and the view is better. The food is small, but delicious, and I was full after drinking three main dishes and an extra piece of bread with wine. It's on the second floor, so you can overlook the busking, and the waiter was friendly. Make a reservation in advance and be sure to eat on the terrace!

Spectacular views of the Duero River, very good atmosphere. Very friendly and attentive service. All the dishes we have ordered were delicious, including the desserts. Highly recommended. Price: about €30 per person, without wine. It is advisable to reserve.

Our dinner here was one of our best dining experiences of our Portugal trip so far. Our party of four opted for the tasting menu, with two of us also doing the wine pairing. Every single course was beautifully presented and flavorful. The wine pairing was perfect as well. The waiters were very attentive and offered to move us inside when a table became available (it was a drizzly evening). We were actually fine outside with the covering overhead and the blankets they gave us, but we really appreciated the offer (later on, we did accept the offer and moved indoors because a loud street performer started playing right below us). I would definitely come back if I’m in Porto again. Highly recommended.
