Place with a lot of charm and affordable prices! A hidden corner near the cathedral and the hustle and bustle!

From our experience, Cerca Velha is a pretty nice place to stop by and grab something small to eat and drink. Overall, the food was good but a little inconsistent. The Bifana was definitely the best dish. The staff wasn’t too customer oriented, and the fact that they only take cash and, that you must pay when your order didn’t favor the service. Anyway, the outdoor seating is picturesque and the ambiance is very pleasant.

Very charming corner,good porto:)
Lovely atmosphere and a calm place to sit down have a drink and a snack. It is located in the oldtown of Porto but a bit away from the main tourist area. Coffee, small beer, two fish crocket and a close to perfect sandwich 10 EUR in total! Order and pay inside and they do accept cash only!

A real hidden gem. The waitress could have been friendlier but the bifanas were incredible and the atmosphere was really authentic.

Restaurantji Recommends
Tinned fish and wine is fine but toast ruins everything. It seems taken from yesterday. The cod fritters taste more like potatoes than cod. The place is very neglected and poorly maintained. It is not very clean and the tables are limp. My final grade would be a 4. I do not recommend it.

Cozy little spot with a nice view. We tried the Porto Tónico - port wine with tonic. Very refreshing, like a spritz.

We had a Mixed Platter and Port Wine. Ir was good. You need to go in to order and pay (only cash).
