I had a wonderful lunch at Picanha na Baixa. The portions were generous and both the meat and fish were excellently prepared. The prices are great and the restaurant is very child-friendly. The service staff was attentive and responded immediately if something was missing. Highly Recommended!

The francesinha is good, the salmon is overcooked and dry. The waiting time is hellish! More than an hour for that…. Honestly it's not worth the cost. You will find much better elsewhere and for less money.

Local place in the center, yet far away from the tourist traps. This local restaurant serves a few dishes per day. A variety of fish and meat dishes is offered. Apetizer is (as usual) put on the table, you would pay for it if you eat it. The staff speaks portuguese only, some English is also ok.
Overall, it's a good place to have a decent meal in the center of Porto.

I had to edit the review because I was accused of not having been to the restaurant. Not only have I been to the restaurant, but I was also fair and said that the service was good, but the food was not. The picanha was extremely hard and impossible to eat, so money wasted.

The restaurant surprises!Simple atmosphere and good, plentiful food!!For those who like very well served dishes with homemade seasoning, this is the place. The grilled picanha and cod were incredible! Each dish comfortably serves 3 people.

My friend and I ate at this place twice, because it’s that’s soooo good. So on tour first try, we bought the steak playter (with fries, salsa, beans, cheese) and their sangria white wine (which is soo good). Then following day, we came back for dinner (yes because we really liked it). We ordered seafoods and 3 big cuts of Salmon and then shrimps around it was only 30€ and the’s for 3 people already. The price is cheap for the quality of food.Albino, the manager, was soooo nice. He even gave us not one, BUT 3 FREEBIES (strawberries, bread with cheese, and seasoned pork) because we ordered a lot of wine. He’s really so nice and friendly!!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO THOSE VISITNG OPORT!! Include this on your list!!!

If you are a tourist they are going to scam you, they give you things without asking and then they charge you for them. They gave us a tapa of ham, we thought it would be a courtesy, but no (4 supermarket slices, €6). They brought us bread, they also charged us for it, okay, nothing happens, in many establishments they charge it, but my anger with this place came when without asking for coffee, when I left the bathroom, I found that they had served me one, I assumed that they They would have invited us after having spent about €30 on food alone, but when we went to pay they also charged us for it. I'm not saying that no one has to give me anything for free, what's wrong is feeling cheated when someone teases you like this, since it's not a lack of understanding or mistakes, it's fake smiles that you take as good treatment and in the end They turn out to be scams.They do not accept card.
