Fabulous fresh flower arrangements. Super clean and welcoming. Bring your Portuguese- no Wi-Fi, no English :-)
While walking through the streets of Porto I came across this friendly bakery. I had a coffee and ate a croissant with soft egg filling. It was delicious and the service was excellent. A pleasant surprise along the way. And the price was super fair! I recommend!! I will be back

Quick breakfast in the center of Porto. Cheese rolls and a galao. Since I wasn't expecting miracles, I wasn't disappointed, but it wasn't anything more than that. I actually like the traditional Portuguese cafes better than the many new tourist lifestyle cafes in Porto. But this is one of the worse ones. Despite my efforts to speak Portuguese, both service staff were very rude. The galao was very bland, the cheese roll was the best part. Prices for the “normal” cafes in Porto are a little more expensive than average.
Ambience, a few tables parallel to the counter, that's still okay!

Very nice, nice service. I want to come back.
Delicious, unique coffee and tasty cakes. Low prices. I recommend it wholeheartedly!!
I was moved by helping homeless people. Coffee and cake for free. I'm impressed.
Next to the Clérigos Tower. Very good terrace. Self-service. Very varied and very fresh cakes. Great.

We went to have breakfast because the hotel was close and because of the good reviews it had... But we didn't go back, the place is quite shabby, the man who served us seemed like we bothered him and there was nothing we would like to eat... I didn't. I recommend at all.

Excellent cafeteria to start the day, the service is super friendly, we went with two little girls and the 3 days we had breakfast they gave us a plate of pasta for them. The sweets are homemade and are delicious. They will always be in our memory of our getaway to Porto.

The staff are so friendly- even though I’m a tourist and don’t speak English - and the pastries were so tasty!

My boyfriend and I liked everything, but especially Mr. Fernando's friendliness. It will remain in our memory as one of the best things about our trip to Porto. So sweet and with a giant heart, and as they say, Mr. Fernando makes the house! We will definitely return to the Royal confectionery! We're going to miss those good, delicious egg yolk cupcakes!

Artisanal bakery in the heart of Porto. Excellent Bolos de Gema and Almendrados cookies. Very reasonably priced and authentic. Highly recommended for a coffee break in the area or to replenish your pastry stock for few days:).

I went there while looking for a place with a local feel, but the coffee and bread were disappointing.
