We had a lovely New Year's Eve here! The staff was very friendly and very passionate about their cuisine. Atmosphere was very romantic and the food was excellent! Beautiful restaurant with amazing food, great service. Highly recommend!

Everything was fantastic, the good was amazing, the people always careful about you, they bring a nice service, ambient quiet and beautifully. My friend also is vegan, and they make something for him, everything awesome. 100% recommend it.

Great ambiance, service and food. We had a wonderful dinner. Our party had the gratiated octopus, cod, and tuna. All were excellent. Took the wine recommendation of the waiter for the house wine and was excellent. Had a bottle of red and a bottle of white. The waiter recommended a dessert and a port and we took the advice. Very good.

Clean and tidy restaurant. Food was very good - like most Porto restaurants. However as a Fork customer do not expect the upstairs part where the views of the Douro River are excellent . The inferior downstairs view is destroyed by the enormous ATM machine . With prices slightly inflated for the location, the Fork discount becomes less worthwhile especially as the restaurant is quite a trek up the hill.

If it’s possible book a table on the upper floor near the window - the view is magnificent. It’s been a long time since we had such well prepared tuna steaks.

This was the second time we visited this restaurant. The first visit was wonderful. This time while still a pleasant experience, the food quality suffered. I know they have a new chef and the owners was out tonight but there are some things I have to point out. The pork secrets were salty and overcooked still edible but needs attention. The octopus was mediocre at best and very expensive for such a small portion. Two very small tentacles that were chewy and dry. This was unforgivable given how much the waiter talked up teh dish. Nothing was excellent, nothing was horrible either. I will try one more time before my final analysis. For now a 7 out of 10 is very generous review for what was a 5 out of 10 food experience. Service was very professional and polite. We never waited more than a few minutes for anything. Bravo there. Of course the upstairs dining room is very pleasant with a great view and despite a large table of loud hipsters, the ambiance was great. Of course having friends visiting made for a great evening. As a suggestion, consider having at least one more vegetarian dish and perhaps poultry or pasta for those guests that just don't eat fish.

Room upstairs has a great view of the river. We are at 9pm and got a table at the balcony. Very quiet and plenty of fresh air. Food was amazing and price very reasonable. Highly recommend. Off the beaten path which was also nice.

Best restaurant to have a romantic getaway dinner! the staff is very friendly and attentive. The caldo verde is one of the best ones we had in Porto so far, same goes to the octopus. Although it was a little bit chewy for our own likings, it didn’t spoil the moment whatsoever as it was very tasty. Couldn’t had asked for a better engagement celebration dinner experience.
