I had a really great time here, I went for dinner with my sister. The carpaccio with pesto blew my mind. Really good ideas for the menu too, and different options. Inês served our table and she was amazing. I gave her a scare because my hand shook when she was serving me the wine, I am sorry for that ? I will definitely eat here again when I come back

They offer 3 different categories on their menu (cruel, cautious, fearful) and they differ based on how “experimental” you like to be with food tasting. We were a group of 4 and the waitress (who was amazing) suggested we try something from each category. We shared 6 dishes and I honestly cannot pick a favourite. All 6 dishes were fantastic, packed with flavour, beautiful presentation, cooked/prepared to perfection. We had a bottle of Vino Verde and 2 bottles of “common people” beer. Excellent spot in Porto, must try!

This restaurant over-promises and under-delivers. The concept is intriguing and would have been awesome if it were executed well. I think the restaurant has a lot of potential; the menu and recipes just need a lot of work.
More specifically: the “very angry” potatoes weren’t spicy at all (and I mean *at all* — a 10-year-old of any ethnicity could have eaten this). The stuffed mushrooms would have worked better if they’d used Mike’s Hot Honey (or if they had added heat to the pepper filling). The duck breast was good, and the “wrap” was cool in terms of texture, but again, there wasn’t anything really interesting about it.
Cruel is redeemed by the incredible hospitality of its waitstaff. They were a joy to interact with, as were the back of house staff I passed by. The ambiance is also quite nice.
