They have very good gluten-free arepas!!!!!
The truth is, I was quite disappointed with the waiter or manager of the establishment, he made too many unacceptable errors in customer service, 1) There were 2 of us, he only gave us a menu,
Then 3 came in and he only gave one card
2) The day before he told me that an arepa would take 30 minutes or more
3) He never smiled for absolutely anything.
4) Quite dry attitude, serious and with very little desire.
I think he doesn't know who pays his salary.
The arepa was very delicious.
I hope the boy improves his attitude

Attentive staff with a good disposition in the face of intolerances, worrying about possible cross contamination and looking for possible solutions.
We asked for a container to put some water for our dog and he very kindly provided it to us.

It was very bad. I went from the city of Maia to have lunch and they didn't care to mention on their page that they weren't going to open. It appears that it is open. I was discouraged, as was my family, as they are Venezuelan and would like to miss their origins.
I had the opportunity to visit Doña Arepa with my family and I was delighted with the experience. We started our meal with a dish called “Sortido Mix. 4 people.” Which was simply delicious. The tostones were thin, perfectly cooked, and with a generous layer of white cheese on top. The mini arepas, although truly mini, were full of flavor, each one with a different filling: white cheese, shredded chicken, shredded beef and beans. They were all exquisite. The tequeños were also a success, with a rich and authentic flavor. The yucca was a pleasant surprise; It was cut so thin it looked like French fries and had exceptional texture and flavor.
We then tried the empanadas, which were perfectly made, with thin dough and generous fillings. Every bite was a delight. Finally, we tasted a cachapa with hand cheese and pernil. The filling was generous and the cheese, just like that of Venezuela, was delicious. Although the cachapa itself was a little thin.
To accompany our food, we drank natural juices that I also recommend 100%. The service was very good, we felt at home, making our experience at Doña Arepa even better.

Even though it is a small place, it is welcoming, the food is good and they not only serve food from Venezuela, but also from Portugal; the service is excellent

Spectacular!!!
I went looking for a restaurant that was open around 11pm and came across "Dona Arepa".
I ate a soup with chicken meat that gave me immense pleasure, with a divine flavor, different from a normal soup.
Then a cachapa with "queso blanco" with a genuine flavor, pure corn flour.
The chicken and cheese arepa also tastes really good, just like the tequeños.
With Venezuelan music to brighten the spirit as soon as you enter the restaurant.
If you want to miss Venezuela or for those who don't know it and want to try new flavors and different cuisine, I highly recommend this place.
