Very friendly and warm staff, they speak English well. Nice place to sit outside, a bit out of the touristy area of Porto. They don’t offer coffee machine coffee like cappuccino, they offer coffee with milk though.
This is a very local cafe and bar located adjacent to the Douro River set back from the tram tracks. There are tables outside under the trees. It is a simple place with neighborhood people gathering to catch up on the news or debate the issues. Most people are drinking a café or a Fino (small beer), usually from a bottle. The locals crowd around the door and the very small indoor area and the tourists sit at the tables. It is a great spot for a late afternoon beer in the shade...
