I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the experience I recently had at the restaurant, where I went to celebrate a birthday. Unfortunately, the service and quality did not meet our expectations for several reasons.
Firstly, I was extremely disappointed to find out that we would be charged an additional fee so that we could consume the birthday cake we brought. I understand that the restaurant may have policies about this, and in 30 years of existence this is the first time that I have been informed about a charge for singing happy birthday in a restaurant. If it were a fee that was displayed on the price list, it would be acceptable, however there is no clear information, so it could be a fee of whatever value they want.
Furthermore, I noticed that there was considerable pressure from the staff to place orders quickly. This type of attitude made the environment uncomfortable and prevented us from enjoying the meal in a peaceful way, which is unacceptable on a special occasion like this.
Finally, the price charged for the dishes did not correspond to the quality of the food offered. (Apart from the calzone aglio) The dishes had small portions and lacked the expected flavor. Considering the amount we paid, we expected something much higher.
In light of these problems, I would like to request a review of these practices. I believe that these points can be improved to prevent other customers from going through the same situation.

I went to the restaurant on my birthday, when I left there my friends told me that to cut the cake and be able to eat it inside the establishment there was a charge of 2 euros per person (that would add up to 16 euros on the total bill). ). This is complete nonsense and even lack of consideration for consumers. I confess that I was quite upset. And I would like to note here that there is no indication on the menu about this value. Honestly, I'm glad my friends congratulated me outside the establishment.
Furthermore, once my guests and I arrived and sat down, we felt extremely pressured to place our orders. Every minute someone would approach our table asking what we would order, without giving us time to look and choose the dishes calmly.

Every time I go here they treat my daughter like a princess. They take her into the kitchen and let her make her pizza and hook her and tell her how amazing she is and they do this for all the kids.

1. We were just crossing the door at 14:15 and the first thing we were told was that the kitchen was closing at 15:00... But it was ok for us to have lunch! Really?! ? 2. Besides a couple, the main restaurant room was empty. The secondary room was also with just one table being used. But we were told that we should use only a table for two... Right shoulder to shoulder with the only one table that was being used... In an empty restaurant. Zero flexibility dealing with table location for a couple. Thank you Fornaio! Great client focus... The service was excellent, the waiters were very attentive at all times and super friendly. The food was delicious and, even though they couldn't make us the chocolate calzone (because we arrived late and they were almost closing the restaurant) it looked very good. Without a doubt I would repeat again!

An incredible experience, we went the friday and had to come back the sunday to repeat. Basically best pizza we had in our lifes, best lasagna, best icecream... Everything it's just incredible. I wish I live here so I could come more times. 100% recommended.
