We came to the Lagostim restaurant yesterday afternoon... the meal was so good that it would have been a crime not to go there a second time. Returning the next evening, we were able to see again the quality of the dishes. Serious and pleasant service, and what you find on the plate is just as pleasant. Between the octopus and prawn cataplana, the sautéed shrimp, not to mention the grilled sea bass and clams à la Bulhão Pato (if you have to choose a starter... this one is to die for): it's hard to doubt the quality of the ingredients and the authenticity of the cuisine. For an authentically Portuguese meal with a setting that matches the same, we can only recommend Lagostim. It is more than certain that we will come back during our next stays in Porto, and I advise you to do the same!

The place is very close to the center, the service is very good and the waiter is very nice. They told us that the dish was prepared at the moment and would take 30 minutes (just what we expected). Wonderful wine and delicious food. We ordered a seafood rice casserole for two (€32) and we ended up full... yes, it has cilantro and it's a little bit spicy hehe but still wonderful. Thank you.

It was a bit meh.
When we arrived on time, the outside table I had booked had been give away and the waiter just shrugged his shoulders, "Can't you see all the tables are taken?"
That was a very weird reaction.
We stayed anyways since we were hungry. The inside waiter was nicer.
The food was just average, and not nicely plated.
Skip this if you have an alternative.

This restaurant was recommended to us and it wasn't bad, although there were a lot of people and it was a bit overwhelming.
The food good. They have a menu and a daily menu that serve faster and are better priced.
The place is very central so that to eat and continue with the visit it is a good option.

Very professional. The owner is the soul of the restaurant. Great kindness and very good food. We ate cod cataplana and it was delicious. The meat and grilled cod are also very delicious. Good homemade desserts too. We will return when we come to Porto again

Highly recommended. Service with the famous Portuguese friendliness (thank you, Pedro). Low prices and very good food: in our case we highlight the Braga-style cod. The next day we ordered the menu that included grilled sea bass, also very delicious.

Just a place not to return to. Poor food quality, quantity is for a child and not for an adult, high price for what was served. We went to eat dessert elsewhere. The room manager always draws the employee's attention (he must do it without anyone noticing). I don't advise anyone to go there.
