The experience at Mal Cozinhado was unbeatable. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and very pleasant. And for dessert we were lucky enough to be able to see 3 Fado artists. We will definitely repeat when we return to Porto.

Dinner reserved online for 8:15 p.m. An hour of waiting before being served at the table!!! And without being informed... Angus beef cooking sent back to the kitchen twice. Bread and olives charged without any consumption. And finally, an addition as hefty as the absence of even financial compensation. Fortunately, the setting of the room and the Fado concert put the two stars here... Too bad. I don't recommend.

A moment suspended delicious food I ate polvo a lagareiro it literally melted in the mouth and the fado we had the chance to see 3 artists singing it was just magnificent the setting was really great also I highly recommend :)

My friend and I had a great time at this restaurant! The place is very charming and immersive. The meal was very good (mixed platter + roast veal) as well as the dessert with a Portuguese crème brûlée. Everything was very nicely presented. The servers are extremely nice! Finally, the Fado was simply great! With very talented and moving singers and musicians. The rest of the time the calm of the restaurant was very pleasant and relaxing, and stands out from other restaurants which can be very noisy. A wonderful evening with friends, lovers or family!

Came here as part of my honeymoon and on our last night in Porto. We had dinner reservations somewhere else earlier and came here specifically for the Fado show and figured we’ll get drinks and dessert. I was seated in the back in an uncomfortable chair and slightly obstructed view but the music and waiter were great (waiter even let us try some green wine.) Halfway through the show, there seemed to be a situation with a customer upstairs and everyone could hear the worker yelling, while the irate customer was saying she’ll call the cops and that she was assaulted by staff. I’m not sure exactly what happened aside from what appeared to be a disagreement but hearing staff yell is never pleasant and I don’t think it’s the best way to handle the situation. After the this incident, multiple other tables left and I honestly wish we did too because it was difficult to shake off witnessing that whole experience.
