visited a couple of days ago just looking for something to eat with the family. stumbled across maria tripeira and thought we’d give it a go as we had been searching for somewhere that serves piña coladas and this was the first place we found. not expecting much, the man led us through to the back of the building to a room with the most gorgeous view of the river douro !! we were also the first people in there to begin with which meant peace haha. 3 of us ordered the salmon and 2 ordered the nutella strawberry crepes, and some desserts afterwards. everything was delicious, including the pina coladas too ! our waitress (i didn’t get her name) was also very lovely and helpful. one of the desserts we ordered was the fruit slice which came with mango, strawberry and pineapple, it was amazing and the fruit was so fresh and tasty. would 100% recommend, only thing was that the menu was mainly fish food or steak so if you don’t eat fish or steak you might have to order a crepe instead like me. thank you for your service guys ! x

A hidden gem in Porto’s crowded Riviera. Around the corner from the busy tourist street but overlooking the river. The food was delicious, the service very friendly and reasonably priced. As I write this, I literally feel like taking a nap right here and staying for dinner.

Starting with the space, very unwelcoming. The restaurant was empty and we could hear everything that was going on in the kitchen (the sound of the microwave). The salad went directly from the package to the plate (without being washed). The only thing we enjoyed was the view and even then it was nothing special. Don't go back!!!

Small place, with few tables, a beautiful view of the river and delicious food!There is only the dish of the day, to choose from, fish or meat and for starters they have charcuterie boards (spectacular) and some cod balls (delicious) and Galician-style octopus (we didn't try it) and exquisite homemade desserts!We will be back!
