visited a couple of days ago just looking for something to eat with the family. stumbled across maria tripeira and thought we’d give it a go as we had been searching for somewhere that serves piña coladas and this was the first place we found. not expecting much, the man led us through to the back of the building to a room with the most gorgeous view of the river douro !! we were also the first people in there to begin with which meant peace haha. 3 of us ordered the salmon...

A hidden gem in Porto’s crowded Riviera. Around the corner from the busy tourist street but overlooking the river. The food was delicious, the service very friendly and reasonably priced. As I write this, I literally feel like taking a nap right here and staying for dinner.
