This review is for the restaurant found in the villa galé hotel. Also named massa fina. I am giving 1 star because zero is not an option, but that is what it would deserve. The food is terrible, and it doesn't deserve the name pizza. I ordered a pizza fresca, which is supposed to have mozzarella di bufala, but it was just a sour, fresh (not cooked) mozzarella sliced on top of the dough with some tomato sauce and fresh lettuce on top. The pizza crust was also terrible. It was more a focaccia than a pizza. Also, the quattro formaggi that my wife got was horrific. The same terrible dough, plus four terrible kinds of cheese: very bad mozzarella, a yellow cheese resembling cheddar, a goat chees very smelly, and a last orange-colored cheese. The quattro formaggi could give you a heart attack only by steering at it. Overall, the atmosphere is also frigid; the lights are green/blue, and the decorations are the same cold colors. After the pizza, we had a look at the ice cream trail, and it was a nightmare. They had a supermarket-type of ice cream (carte dor). Prices are also high compared to what you can find in the city.

This restaurant is found inside the Hotel Vila Gale on the ground floor. It serves only italian food. The atmosphere is okay, and the service is good. We spent 25 euros on a pizza and a pasta. The pasta, with squid ink and mussels, was average: the black pasta was clearly pre-bought and not cooked with any squid ink, and the mussels were dry. The pizza, with spicy salami and olives and cheese, was not great. There was way too much cheese on the pizza, overcrowding it way too much, by which the tomato flavour couldn't be tasted anymore.
