A small place with ecological products. Regional. Tasting. Recommendable .
Delicious ! The products are of quality and the welcome is very friendly ? We enjoyed this meal with the bruschetas and pastels de nata ✨ We spotted the place because there were premises on the terrace in the evening, not missed, it's validated !!
Excellent treatment. Good price.
Great shop, we stayed there for over 2 hours from a planned short stay. The boss and staff were super friendly and attentive.
The boss in particular is a very nice and polite person.
P.s amazingly, he can speak several languages as it turns out every day.
Always very happy...top location
The Turkish woman and the Portuguese guy who are talking in German
An address not to be missed, a grocery store which also allows you to stop and buy and taste quality local products, at very reasonable prices.
During my stay in Porto I had the opportunity to try this place so mentioned by tourist guides.
From my experience it is definitely overrated
Surely the products will be of quality but the price is exaggerated. 16.90 euros for a measly portion of raw ham, cheese and chips in a bag seems excessive to me
But the worst thing is the rudeness of the staff. To my request for a coke the waitress responds with "it's not on the menu, reread it and then I'll be back", takes the order without writing anything and in fact two portions didn't arrive. We asked our colleague where they were and he, very kindly, immediately brought them to us.
That said, I wouldn't go back!
This small place has achieved the impossible: creating a space for harmonious coexistence between the comings and goings of tourism and the daily life of the locals.
And if you come to Mercearia das Flores -located in one of the most central streets of Porto- you can from tasting an exquisite board of Portuguese queijos, to taking home a fabulous “serra de estrela”, some preserved smoked sardinhas and a small bottle of Port wine to give that finishing touch to dinner any day of the week.
Fummetsvan will definitely return.
A small shop with Portuguese delicacies. You can buy them for home, but you can also order small portions of assorted cheeses or meats and eat them on the spot. If you ask for a glass of water, a glass of tap water is brought to you, as was recently regulated in the EU.
Very cozy little shop with friendly staff.
Picturesque place where you can taste local, good quality products! The charming owner of the place knows how to talk about his products and knows their history, their origin.... one more reason to sit down and enjoy the platters of charcuterie or cheese, sardines, olives, almonds, pastries home.... a real treat and an authentic moment of conviviality! THANKS..

The food we received was fine. Unfortunately, one easy-to-prepare item (fried potatoes) just never arrived, even after we asked our server about it and she promised to check.
Cashier applied direct currency conversion—always a ripoff—without telling me or even asking.
Avoid this place. Go somewhere else & be treated with respect.
UPDATE: The owner’s response below is pure gaslighting. There was no “misunderstanding” about our order, just a failure by the waitstaff. The item never arrived even though we asked & the server promised to check.
And the lengthy “set[ting] the record straight” is nonsense. I’m an experienced traveler and know what DCC (direct currency conversion) is and *never* to choose it. I didn’t select it here & was never given a choice.
It says a lot about this place that the owner can’t accept responsibility for his staff’s errors and that s/he insists instead on blaming the customer. Draw your own conclusions.
Very nice but had to wait a bit.
my favorite stop in the middle of Porto: service, sweet and salty snacks, original: oil sardine tasting + wine tasting...everything is possible. I don't actually want to recommend it, because otherwise I won't be able to find any more space in the near future... a must for me!
I have never met such a rude waitress in my life...lol
GREAT PLACE. WE NEED TO STOP THERE!!!
The lady who welcomed us was very friendly, the gentleman who came next was also super friendly and very funny. They took the time to explain to us when our dishes arrived what was on the plate, which was very appreciable. At least you know what you're eating. The street is very busy but the prices are completely fair, we got it for €15 per person with two courses and three glasses. The place has toilets. Everything is organic and from the region!!!!
Unfortunately I don't have a photo to offer because we ate everything very quickly because it was very, very good. There are seats inside
