We took the time to stop at this little restaurant for a drink and we were not disappointed. The service is very pleasant, the servers are attentive to your requests. The prices are fair, for a coke and a water we paid 4 euros. The view is definitely worth the detour.

Based on the reviews, I was scared to go, but due to the beauty of the place I decided to take the risk. I actually liked it, pleasant, normal service, reasonable menu. Overall, yes, it's worth it. I will be back

The views are very good, now, we ordered 3 hamburgers, of which two were slightly cooked, cold and without cutlery, eating the potatoes with our hands and it is not cheap. We will not return.

Stunning view over the Douro. Now the service leaves something to be desired, waiters who don't even know what time (or day of the week) they can serve lunch/dinner We ended up ordering two burgers which were served to us on sliced bread!! Obviously everything was thrown back. Service preparation is necessary and more than normal. A shame for such a good positioning and a service that leaves so much to be desired.
I recommend going next door (Basquiat restaurant) top service!! And the food is excellent ?

I liked the beautiful view but didn't sit down as there were workmen drilling below. The waiter seemed annoyed when I wanted to leave due to the noise.
I tried to inquire about vegan options but I couldn't get specific details so I imagine eating preferences are not of great importance here.

I come here regularly, I love the spot especially the view. Just seems they can’t seem to keep it going… which, as a cafe owner myself in the city, I fully understand. Extortionary taxation and local authorities doing everything possible to hinder business and innovation… but blessed with this privileged location, often bad service and unavailable menu items are things within a businesses control. Pricing is now on the high end without anything high end on offer. What I would do as an entrepreneur to have such a gem… but again, being destroyed by local policy makers myself, I understand how this business might find it tricky.
UPDATE: I returned a month later and hallelujah there was food… however… dreadful. The Ines burger says on the menu, with mushrooms and Ines sauce. This was frozen junk burger patty on iceberg lettuce remains with Brie and bacon on a stale bun. Zero sauce. Zero mushrooms. Zero butter. Zero effort. That with the €5 half glass of wine inspired me to mark down the venue an additional star and resolve myself not to try again.
