It is usually very frequented by local people which is a good sign. The place is not very big. Economic. They offer tasty and very varied menus. Great attention. We recommend the desserts. We recommend going outside of the main or peak lunch/dinner hours since you may have to wait, especially if you are more than 3 people. They do not have air conditioning but they do have ceiling fans throughout the room.

Abbiamo cenato così bene e a così poco che siamo ritornati anche il giorno dopo per pranzo! Noi abbiamo provato l'orata, il pesce spada e un piatto tipico sempre pesce (di cui non ricordo il nome), tutto buonissimo! Anche la zuppa di verdure ci è piaciuta tanto. Taverna piccolina e rustica, frequentata da gente del posto, personale gentile e accogliente.

For the price really nice, with drink and soup and coffee but quality of meals are not really good. Soup was average, calamari don't even taste like calamari, swordfish not so good. Maybe meat dishes are better but we didn't try it.

If you just want simple Portuguese food, no frills honest tasty food at an unbelievably low price this is the restaurant for you. So, for €21.50, we ( 2 people ) had vegetable soup with a roll, to start (cabbage or chicken) also available, a chiefs welcome of a crispy pancake (free), the your main, I had grilled pork, fried egg, rice, chips and salad. Then a desert. All rounded off with 0.6l carafe of white wine. We were stuffed. It's no frills but popular, like typical Brits we were earlier than the locals but it did fill up. English is spoken. Enjoy!!

We had lunch/dinner for 2 people, when we arrived it was neither lunch nor dinner time and it was empty, a very friendly girl attended to us, she helped us choose the menu. First we ate a very delicious vegetable broth, they gave us 2 cod fritters, then we ate grilled and fried cod and finally for dessert, chocolate cake and flan plus coffee, all of this accompanied by wine, a lot of wine and bread. The atmosphere is homely, the tables are quite close to each other. All very rich! And only for €19
