The vegetarian francesinha was wonderful. I loved. The gentleman who waits tables, despite being super busy, maintains a good mood and friendliness. A very genuine restaurant.
I ate very, very well. Good prices.

Very typical. Portuguese atmosphere!
A whole menu with drink for €7 is really great, efficient service!

A really great restaurant at perfect prices - the whole menu with wine for €7. And you get a completely traditional Portuguese atmosphere from the place. It may not be a modern and luxurious restaurant in appearance, but the hall gives off a very pleasant feeling.

They gave me ham on my vegetarian francesinha and didnt take it back. The say its vegetarian but its meat
Vegetarian options: I had ham on my vegetarian francesinha. He said it's not meat, but it's definitely meat.

Were here for dinner. Service not particularly friendly. Ambience loud and uncomfortable. Chef shouts orders to the kitchen every few minutes. The food was partly ok, but the beef steak was cooked to death and hard.

If you want to eat in a typical Porto tavern, this is the ideal place.
We ordered francesinha with sweet potatoes, cod bolinhas with rice and salad, two jugs of port, water, pudding, walnut cake and coffee. €21.50
GIVEN!
Typical homely treatment, we were the only foreigners and we felt at home.
The man who served us, probably the owner, very friendly and very authentic.
A 10!!!

Restaurantji Recommends
Typically local restaurant with generous and tasty portions in an irremediably authentic atmosphere. The first Francesinha and its spicy sauce approved by the boys, cod, escalope and light dessert, then a little Port to finish ?

We found it by chance, but it was a total success! Very good service and delicious food, good portions and very cheap. We ordered the menu, for €7 you have a soup/cream and a main to choose from about 5 fish and 5 meats. They come with rice and salad. Bread and a drink are included. You can't ask for more for that price! The place is not very big, but it is comfortable.I totally recommend it

I ate here on the recommendation of a guide who lives in Porto. The place is a sort of equivalent of trattorias in Italy, in its chaos you can experience a bit of Portuguese soul that is lost in more touristy restaurants. The price-quality is exceptional: for a soup, a fish first course and side dish, bread, water and coffee I barely spent €7
