A place that differs from others with a homely atmosphere and very good food, you can see that they put a lot of heart not only into the food but also into the atmosphere. Porto amazes, but eating in this restaurant gives you the taste of a home-made family tradition passed down from generation to generation

Very good family atmosphere, home-made and regional food. A different atmosphere from those on the main tourist avenues. A place worth recommending and spending a few moments or maybe even more there. We spent a very nice evening.

We came by chance looking for somewhere away from the tourist area and it turned out very well!! First we ordered the octopus salad and soups, all delicious. As a second course, both the meat and fish dishes are very carefully presented and very tasty. Desserts, both the cheesecake and the flan, are very good. Everything HOMEMADE. Unbeatable quality-price ratio. GREAT RECOMMENDATION!! ?
A great experience. The place is small, cozy and familiar. Homemade food and very well cooked, you can see the tradition in everything they do. The treatment is fabulous, I would repeat. We went for 30 per head for 4 with 2 bottles of wine, some beer, desserts, coffee and a shot!

Family-run tavern in the city centre, away from the classic tourist-catching venues. Absolute quality, fresh products, modest prices, friendliness, family environment. Here you come to truly taste local products and typical home-made cuisine.

Brilliant. An authentic Portuguese place, traditional food in a family business. Good atmosphere and good prices. The grilled cod is spectacular.

A family restaurant where you eat wonderfully at a very friendly price. The T Bone matured approx 600-700g for 26€ was extraordinary and the bacalao too. The wine is excellent. An authentic and perfect place, far from mass tourism.

Quiet and relaxed place without the hassle of a lot of people like in other places. Delicious food and very efficient service, with very correct waiting times. I have been very happy with this place and I will bookmark it for future visits to Porto.

Hidden in a small street 2 steps from the church of S. Francesco, away from the chaos and the tourist-catching places, there is this small, authentic, family-run place.
The environment is welcoming and takes you back to the old taverns of the past, the menu offers local specialties at honest prices.
The service is fast and friendly.
Everything we ate was delicious, the pepper salad with onions was spectacular.
The pumpkin fritters served as dessert which the chef recommended us to try were also very particular and tasty.
Absolutely recommended.

We returned to this restaurant that we discovered 7 years ago. There we found the authenticity of Portuguese dishes and a typical and warm setting.
Thanks to the server for his kindness!

We were lucky to find this real traditional Portuguese food restaurant in Porto. Exceptional attention from its owner and kitchen, fabulous from his brother, atmosphere, pleasant and calm dishes that are more than abundant, you have to arrive hungry, and be careful to settle for the fried cod. Excellent price-quality ratio.
