Beautiful terrace on the riverside in downtown Porto. We ate cod with cream, cod crusta and the teenagers hamburger and hot dog. All very rich ? The waiter was super friendly and professional.

Unfortunately. Furthermore, one of those responsible treats the waiters badly, bordering on humiliation. Some unpleasant ones who don't even respond when you say thank you. Very expensive for the bad food they serve. Despite the stifling heat of August, the jars of mayonnaise and sauces are hot and without being in a place with a minimum of cold maintenance. If you sit down to just have a coffee, they say no. Either you consume more, or they don't allow you to be there. The worst in Porto by far.

I ordered the Bacalhau, and they told me it was made with tuna, not cod. Ok, fine. Well, it was terrible. And it was the 2nd most expensive meal I had in Portugal. The beer was good, and the people watching was exceptional. The street musicians were fun. So my recommendation is to sit, have a few drinks, and enjoy the river.
