Typical Portuguese homemade food. All very good. We were 8 diners, 4 adults and 4 teenagers. Reasonable price. Of course, go slowly (a single waiter who serves all the tables in a three-story bar, a friendly waiter, a joker and a complete professional) and in time to eat before 3 p.m. that closes the kitchen.
Local restaurant!!! Very cheap, very rich, and a lot of quantity! They gave us two cod cakes, and we ordered the hake, and the loin with mushrooms (the sauce is delicious) which came with potatoes and rice (both €7.50, for the quantity and quality it is brutal). For dessert, the “bola de bolcha” (cake like with a cookie, delicious). €25 total
After many visits to the jalopy as a student, I returned 13 years later. The waiter remains the same, fast attentive and always joking, and the food continues to be delicious, a 5-star quality-price ratio.
