If I could give 0 star, i would ! Please for your sake, avoid this horrible restaurant - food is disgusting, badly prepared, very low quantity (1 dose = 1/2 in another typical portuguese restaurant), and products are expired (mayonnaise/ketchup for ex). Only good thing was the service.

I have made O Marinheiro my go to for lunch over the past year. I always select from the Prato do dia menu and have not been disappointed. The staff, food, and atmosphere are awesome. I recommend taking the low ratings posted with a little skepticism.

Great price-quality ratio, comfortable, impeccable and very attentive, fast service.
We opted for the suggestions of the day, breaded and sardines, all delicious. We had desserts, chocolate cake with very delicious ice cream.
Portions are ideal for me, well balanced, however it may disappoint those who like a generous dose.

Lovely seafood dishes with reasonable prices and good quality. Eat here not at the river. Excellent service staff. We will be back :)

My daughter, my wife and I had dinner with some sardines, an octopus, some cod croquettes and roast chicken. Everything excellent. Spectacular service.

There is a good reason why this restaurant has a low rating. The problem is that the quality of the food does not match the excellent service and reasonable prices. The mixed grilled fish we ordered was steamed small unfresh fish with full of spines. Some fish even had a fishy smell. "Mixed grilled fish" should be changed to "Mixed steamed fish".

I saw your reply that my review regarding "Mixed grilled fish" was fake. I am attaching my receipt as proof of my visit to your restaurant. Don't call the customer a liar, but be faithful to the food.
