We went to O Paparico because a friend of ours recommend it to us. We did the reservation about a week before going and we did not have any problems with that. The experience in this restaurant starts since the moment you are outside of the restaurant, which appears to be a really old mansion with a big door. You must knock on the door and the hostess opened up and greet us. When you go in you can see a very old but clean and amazing décor, which kinds of looks like a royal house from many years ago. The restaurant has few tables, maybe 8, so the atmosphere is private and kind of relaxed. We were taken to our table and were given our menus in a closed envelop, which we opened with the help of a letter opener. Everything we ordered was amazing, we were truly amazed with the quality and taste of everything that was sent our way. From the beginning with the bread, butter and olive oil, to the very elaborated and complex plates, to the dessert and the drinks that we had. This is one of the most amazing culinary experiences I have ever had. The service was great and everyone was really kind and helpful.

Too expensive for the quality of the dishes served
Too much mixture of flavors
Unfinished kitchen
To avoid and to favor a Michelin-starred restaurant in Porto for the same price
Even though it’s a Michelin plate, I think it’s definitely worthy of one-star quality! Very nice, you get a small gift after eating ;)
Here I tasted the cafe com cheiro that I have always wanted to drink
Just incredibly delightful. You must get the 'surprise' tasting menu. Rich, subtle, Portuguese flavors throughout and the service and Sommelier were superb.

Well, i found a small lobster shell , almost chipped my teeth since i didn't expect it, and reported to the waiter, no apology until we mentioned it again. Then the apology was kinda lame, sounds like an excuse. Didn't even offer a dessert or drink. Not sure how they earned this Michelle star status
Portuguese restaurant with a super original approach and explosive flavors!
“Where should I take you to eat in Porto? “ definitely at “O Paparico” where a fantastic gastronomic experience characterized by refinement, excellent flavors and spectacular dish presentation is guaranteed! The warm and welcoming environment was already an excellent presentation! The service was very accurate down to the smallest details! Faced with a menu full of delicious dishes we opted for the tasting menu: a truly inexhaustible source of flavours! The menu is then enriched with numerous tastings offered by the chef, perhaps struck by our enthusiasm! I think the photos of the dishes are sufficient to describe all the goodness we tasted! The slightly high prices are adequately justified by the dishes served, the result of studies and insights into ways of offering excellent quality products in an original way!

I loved
A good restaurant, but if this one is a Michelin star, a lot of brazilians restaurants in Brazil should be better avaluted. I really do not fell so superb as people say.
