Delicious food, great service (the lady was super nice and attentive) and very cheap.
Lovely little cafe/restaurant run by a Portugese couple. Small, maybe fit 10 people inside, but worth a visit. They don't speak English, when asked about a menu the woman listed the ingredients she had and asked what we wanted her to make. Proper Portugese home cooked food, we nick named her our portugese mum! My gf had steak, rice and chips, I had salmon, rice and chips, and we each had a beer, came to 10euro each. I ate all the food before i could take a photo of it! Best salmon I've ever had, definitely worth a visit if you can find it. Across from one of the entrances to the local shopping centre.

For those who are looking for a typical and traditional café in Porto this is it. There is no more local than this. Sr. João, the owner is very polite and makes the most fantastic bifanas very good and very local. Please support this local business, the place may look old but it surely is good. There is no MBway or payment by card so make sure you bring some money, but you don’t need much because it’s cheap but rather delicious

This spot is at a food court. Many people buy takeouts, it is very busy. The seafood is so good and inexpensive. They serve hot seafood as well as cold seafood. If you are early they will not take your order until 12:30pm. Hot food: Scallops, Razer Clams, Clams, seafood with rice etc. cold food : Barnacle, shrimp, oysters, crabs, etc. Go and fill your stomach with fresh and inexpensive seafood...enjoy!
I have been here for lunch I tried Polvo a Gallega. It was very good. The restaurant is inside a market. You ask for the dish, which arrives in about 10 minutes, then you sit around, where there are meny tables shared by the many small restaurants and cafe present in the market.
I loved the kindness of the service as well as the food.

Our kids have been obsessed with fresh seafood and found mariscaria among the so many restaurants in the market. They were assessing the menu and were wondering what barnacles tasted like - so adriano pulled so out to give them a try. Not for them but glad they tried it! They ordered a combo and literally ate up every last bite! After the meal they wanted to try razor clams and Adriano generously gave them a taste on the house - kids and curiosity are a great combination. Highly recommend this place when in the market!

Amazing octopus and seafood salad from this little stall. Perhaps the best octopus I have had: and I have tried a few. Great price, too!
Nothing particular inspiring. It’s a modern food hall, good for friends gathering. But I would rather eat in a local café.
Thank you so much, it was amasing! Everything was fresh and delicious! (Also it is not expensive!) we will come back again if we are in Porto :)
