Everything is very good, a lot of variety, I highly recommend the shrimp empanadilla. Very friendly and efficient waiters. You have to arrive early because if not you probably won't have a place.

Every time we go to Porto, we have breakfast there. It's so good! And really cheap!

It's the second time I was there. And for me it is the best padeinha in Oporto. There are a lot of different biscuits. The waiters are very friendly.

It is not easy to find a pastry bar open early in the morning in the historic center of Porto. This is one of the few. Spartan and uncharacteristic place but excellent desserts. Fast service.

Very nice small bakery/cafeteria. Friendly staff, good prices, and great bread and pastry. They are also very careful with any allergies you tell them about.

Definitely recommend the queijada de laranja and the muffins with mixed nuts.

Dietary restrictions: If you tell the staff about any allergies, they will help recommend you something that is safe for you to eat.

I went to Padeirinha three times during my stay at Porto, one for breakfast, two in the afternoon. The space looks ok, clean, not particularly fancy, just the average cafeteria in the neighbourhood now adapted to the huge influx of tourists without loosing the traditional appeal to locals. The place was very busy already at 7am on a Saturday morning, more than half full, mostly tourists, a few locals, but I didn't have to wait for too long. Everything l ordered (croissant, tuna sandwich, slices of pizza) was in order, looking and tasting good. The prices are average or just slightly above it when compared to non touristic zones in Lisbon (I can't compare with other places at Porto). All in all a place I recommend.

They have 1 vegan item that is really dry and tasteless. There is a very rude server who pointed out at us and said “I am not going to clean that” to a single takeaway package they give you with your food when you leave it on the table even though we did not even dirty anything around. It was really rude.
