Made the pilgrimage from the airport, even though I was staying in Ceidofeita, and it was well worth it: delicious pastel de nata, with flaky pastry and not-too-sweet "of egg" (the custard), and a fine espresso. Ate it overlooking the water and then immediately returned for two more to go. Best of these pastries I sampled on my trip. Seemingly frequented by locals on their Sunday morning breakfast routine.
Great food, helpful staff (even with English speakers), and super convenient. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying around the area ??Do be aware that you have to ask for milk in your coffee here
Good variety of pastries. Has a terrace overlooking the river. Extremely efficient and friendly staff. Payment inside. From the terrace you have a panoramic view of the Douro River. Recommended for breakfast, snack or light meals.I highly recommend going there and seeing the good sweets. For breakfast or a snack, order Cementea or Regueifa toast.If there is a waiting line, place yourself at the entrance to the building. It tends to be quick.
