Absolutely wonderful! Do not skip this gem. Delicious food, incredible and kind service. This place is like going to your grandmother's house and being served your favorite meal.
This restaurant and the owners are just amazing! The location is charming and we had a lovely table facing the street. People would stop by the window and look at our food which was probably the best Italian food we’ve ever had. The warm welcome by the owners as well as every item we ordered was outstanding. You receive fresh bread with olives and olive oil as much as you desire and it was scrumptious. For appetizers, we ordered a salad and chicken meatballs, and they were very delicious. For dinner, we had the salmon, Bolognese, a veggie pasta and they were cooked to perfection. The absolute star of the meal was a mushroom pasta: it was decadent and like no pasta we’ve ever tasted! The owners ( husband and wife) were SO sweet! We cannot wait to come back to Porto and eat at this absolute gem of a restaurant again!

The place is very cozy, with a careful and romantic aesthetic. On the terrace one can enjoy the outdoors and be comfortable. The Mediterranean salad is very delicious, in addition to the olives and wine. The waiter was so attentive that he invited me to have a second glass of wine. I recommend. I hope to return

Had one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time here last night. The service was lovely; there are only a few tables in the restaurant, and you can tell that great care is taken to create an intimate and well thought-out experience. In terms of the food, everything was amazing. We did not have a disappointing bite :) Overall this is a delicious local restaurant and we’re lucky we found this gem in such a tourist-y area. Thank you for the lovely night!
If you're anything like me, you are reading the reviews before this one that say things like, 'You MUST go here,' and 'This place is a hidden gem,' and wondering if you should believe these reviews or not. The whole area has many cute restaurants, lots of places to see, but we took a chance and came here. It was the best decision. The menu was simple, but we finished every plate to the last drop, from the fresh mediterranean salad and chicken meatballs (INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS), to the perfectly cooked and seasoned salmon and the rich mushroom pasta (my favorite of the night). We paired our dinner with a delicious Vino Verde that complemented the meal nicely. We ended the meal with the lemon olive oil cake with raspberries and whipped cream, and i had to stop myself from licking the plate.
While the food was extremely delicious, the service took the whole experience to the next level. He gave great recommendations and fantastic service, starting by greeting us with a welcome drink of Lambrusco (not sure if we lucked out, or if that's just standard for this welcoming restaurant). The inner furnishing were simple, warm, and elegant, making this spot a great place for a romantic date without having to deal with the stuffy atmosphere of so called "fine dining".
The evening was just so spectacular and i'm so glad we gave this place a shot. PLEASE believe the reviews that came before mine, because you DEFINITELY SHOULD COME HERE. I hope this restaurant continues on for years to come! Thank you to the owners and chefs for making our night incredible!
Hummus was outstanding. Chicken meatball starter was terrific. Had bottle of rose (casal da coelheira) was refreshing and delightful. Outstanding service. Would recommend this to other travelers and our friends! Would definitely come back!
