We are Italian and had the opportunity to dine here tonight. We were welcomed by the owners, who guided us in choosing the dishes. It was all delicious and the owners were very nice, super helpful and kind. We ate excellent meat, accompanied by potatoes, cherry tomatoes, peppers and bread, and then ended the evening with an excellent cheesecake. Go and enjoy the food.

dish served 1 by 1 every 15 minutes… we were not able to eat all at the same time (+ small quantity) and in addition a mistake on the bill which was expensive so we were still hungry when leaving

We asked for dishes to share under their advice but they are not dishes, they sent us dishes one by one the service was horrible... the dishes are not even good. The waitress is nice, the only positive point.

What an amazing dinner! The service impeccable: they offered wine tasting to choose the perfect glass, guided us through the menu, brought more of anything we asked promptly. The food was amazing! It was unique, tasty and well prepared.
The intimate atmosphere made it such an elevated experience.
We will be back!

Really great food and service and a reasonable price. We really enjoyed the octopus salad with bell peppers. I also liked how when ordering a wine, they let you try 3 before having a glass of your favourite.

The place is cozy, and the waitress and the owner are very friendly.
I ordered some meat croquettes and a plate of confit cod.
The croquettes were very delicious, they tasted like meat, like eating a pork stew, I have to say that they were not creamy, but they were delicious.
The cod had a spectacular flavor as well as its accompaniment (poached onion, fried peppers, onion in wine, cherry tomatoes in a frying pan, and confit potatoes with spices), the only drawback I see is that it was a bit dry... crispy on the outside, but on the inside, it's a shame not to be able to taste it just right because you can see that everything is homemade and the flavor is delicious.

We have made a reservation through The Fork application, in which the restaurant has given us the ok for 9:00 p.m., when we arrive there at 8:50 p.m., the owner tells us that he cannot seat us, that he does not have place, hence the bad grade in everything because they have not even attended to us.

Popina
R. de Ceuta n° 73, Porto, Portugal
We stumbled upon Popina while looking for a place to enjoy a glass of Portuguese wine before dinner. This small restaurant, with its cozy outdoor seating, turned out to be a gem.
Hank, the manager, treated us with such care that we thought he was the owner. When we asked for local wine recommendations, he brought over four bottles (two Vinho Verdes and two Whites) for us to taste. His generous pours pleasantly surprised us, and the quality of the wines was superb and surprisingly affordable—less than what we’d pay for a single glass of good wine in the US.
Popina was so delightful that we visited twice. It’s tucked away from the main tourist area, offering a peaceful escape. I highly recommend it!
