Bad experience...I don't recommend! To flee...!
Dry meat, flavorless pulp...
After 1 hour of waiting, big disappointment...
Go your way

Lovely place, few tables and very warm treatment. The kitchen is very close and you can soak in the smells of the dishes, feeling part of the cooks' culinary experience. Although if desired there is a terrace. Very balanced and complete dishes. To repeat.
Reservation is recommended due to its space.
Vegetarian options: Varied and very balanced dishes with all the elements necessary for a good vegetarian diet.

A very Portuguese proposal, with a very special charm. It is a mini cooking show where the chef and his assistant prepare the dishes from the kitchen, which is almost next to you.
The food and drinks were very delicious, the truth is that we were lucky to find it. Highly recommended

Vegetarian options: Whilst the menu isn't vast, it offered some amazing vegetarian dishes for both starters and mains - which we'd happily order again.

Recommended dishes: Roasted Portobello with Goat Cheese Curry Sauce and Mango, Vegetable Mix, Gnocchi with Candied Cherry Tomato in Azores Cheese Mozzarella and Capers
Nice little restaurant, don't forget to make a reservation. There were 6 tables and a small kitchen that prepared and served Portuguese dishes in a few rounds. Definitely recommended, best with slightly better weather so you can sit outside.

We were very excited to eat at porta 4, however we felt disappointed when we left. The food is mediocre at best and it took an hour for the food to arrive. The service was really not great.

Amazing food and vibe. Such a small, intimate & cool interior with limited amount of tables watching the two chefs cooking everyones meal. A must visit while in Porto.

We came across this little place by chance, and we were lucky!! We had 2 starters, 1 main course, wine, dessert and Port: all delicious! Attentive service, we highly recommend it!

Restaurantji Recommends
Just fantastic service, the best wine, and incredible food. Worth going for the wine list alone, but also great service with direct access/view of the kitchen and chef. Thank you so much!

Recommended dishes: Tuna Dish, Roasted Portobello with Goat Cheese Curry Sauce and Mango, Gnocchi with Candied Cherry Tomato in Azores Cheese Mozzarella and Capers
A small restaurant with a huge heart and excellent taste.
Each dish is highlighted and rich in taste.
The chef prepares each dish separately and performs the entire task himself. A limited team provides a king's meal for 6 at his table.
It is recommended to reserve a place in advance

This was amazing. Such a small place you essentially have a private chef that is making food straight from the heart. Great music and wine. If you’re reading this review don’t walk, run.

The stuff was excellent and the food amazing...Maybe I would appreciate a bit more fresh air but you expect this from a small restaurant like Porta 4...I recommend it completely..
