It's one of those gems you find unexpectedly. We were welcomed in its cozy eating area. Service is really friendly and pataniscas were delicious. It's definitely a place to eat well.
I often come to Porta Dezanove, and I get sad when I can't go due to lack of time! One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. The service is perfect, the food is very good and homemade and the dessert is mouth-watering. I recommend it to everyone who is in Porto and wants to have a wonderful experience, eat really good food and not pay too much!
I had lunch here because it is close to my hotel and despite the fact that the place is not large, it hosts a good number of people. I waited a while before being allowed in and even though I don't speak the language the staff understood me, I have to say they were very friendly. The chicken sandwich was good, and the dessert too. Good price for coffee. Advised.
