We came for an Odisseias voucher which is fantastic! Portuguese restaurant, as you find fewer and fewer of them. The food is good and impeccable price-quality ratio. The service was very attentive and friendly. Like the old houses where you can even get to know the employees and, therefore, the house! The francesinha was better than many so-called 'famous' ones and the duck rice was good and in the right dose. It's what you call a Portuguese restaurant. There is no shortage of good food, hospitality, friendliness. No mimimis or ikea decoration for social media. We will be back :)

Today, I was walking up Rua Sá da Bandeira, with my family, when passing by this establishment we got hungry and we decided to eat something there. I went in, ordered 4 menus of Mixed Toast + 4 Glasses of Orange Juice, which according to the advertised amount would be €11.20, and I prepared to make the payment, and this is where things started to get ugly. Firstly, they don't have an ATM (by choice) they told me that the payment had to be in cash, that was fine, I was going to make the withdrawal, but my mother-in-law happened to have €15 in cash, I went back to the counter to pay , the employee told me so that I wouldn't have to wait for the change, that I should sit down and take my change, as the value was €11.20. To our surprise, the same employee approached me at our table and said that there was still €5 left, I pointed to the window and said that the total was €11.20, that is, I was entitled to change, he returned it. go inside and come back with a receipt from the machine with a total of €20, I asked why, since what was advertised was €2.80/menu, he told me to go inside to speak to another gentleman, I don't know If boss, what was it that told me that that menu was only open until 11:30 in the morning and I asked where that information was, since we didn't notice it, but it could have been a lack of attention on our part, to which the An employee accompanies me outside and points me to a menu board, inside the establishment, which, in addition to poor visibility, as can be seen in the photos, appears to be leaning / tidy. I then asked to cancel the order, as I felt deceived, to which the supposed chef said that the mixed toasts were already being made, I did not negotiate this situation. Meanwhile, I went to withdraw money to top up the €20 bill, I went to the counter and they just gave me the change, no machine receipt, no invoice, absolutely nothing, it was then that I asked for an invoice with a taxpayer number to see the prices of what I paid and to To my surprise, the employee asks if I want a detailed invoice or just the total, I was a little confused, as far as I know, the invoice has to describe the items/products sold, so I told him I wanted a normal invoice. He gave me an invoice that said there were 4 desserts (I think he calls it mixed toast dessert) and 4 orange juices. €2.50/product. To finish: Mixed Toast with a slice of cheese and another of the thinnest ham they could find and an orange juice that looked more like lemon, such was the acidity and color. A horrible experience, with an establishment that deceives customers and does not accept mistakes. We won't be back.
