I wouldn’t say it’s the best place for Porto wine, but it’s definitely the most cost-effective. The waitress is very informative and helpful, which adds to the experience. Just be aware that sometimes they extend their mid-day break.

My wife and I had a great wine experience here! Very down to earth, yet knowledgeable hosts. I tried a crazy good white port wine here, the 20yo vintage white port. Prices are very reasonable, around 6€ per glass. We had 5 ports altogether, for the price of 42€, and we got some of the more pricey ones. You can sit outside, or inside in comfy and atmospheric tables. A must if you're into wine at all. ? Cheers to João, very cool host!

We walked in to Private and sat down for a drink and snack. We were outside, so the service was a little slow, but our server was great. We heard this was a great wine bar, but didn’t get the chance to sit inside or experience the sommelier’s suggestions for wines to pair. Not sure if there’s still a sommelier, but we heard there was one here. Overall, we had a nice time although we didn’t get the full experience.

I use to manage a wine bar and wine is my passion and prova is with out a doubt the best wine bar that i have been in my life. Hands down.
If you a wine person- this is the place for you.
Just let João or ricardo the freedom and the trust and you will get exactly what you want without knowing that this is what you wanted.

I came here by recommendation from a friend and was worth it! Great wine tasting place. The staff is well educated, speaks really good English and knows their job. I asked for a specific taste and yasss - they got me just what I wanted. The space is nice, cozy and chill, relaxing. Definitely worth trying! Also the prices are good! 5 eur for a glass of really good wine!

Had a lovely time during my visit here, I got the half cheese board along with some of the ports on the menu and everything I had was delicious. Staff was great and welcoming, would definitely come back if I’m ever in the area again

Really great wine bar for wine enthusiasts and novices. Diogo
was helpful curating our wine orders and went out of his way to give us the background of each vineyard for each glass we ordered. Would definitely recommend this place, the customer service was really top notch and the ambiance/vibes/music were great.

A beautifully designed wine tasting shop offering a diverse selection of wines, well suited snacks, and desserts, seamlessly blending complexity and simplicity with unique experience.
If you want to enjoy your evening away from touristy attractions it is a total recommendation!

Lovely wine, lovely food and lovely service! For wine connoisseurs and wine novices a like - the staff helped choose a wine based on your tastes in a super relaxed atmosphere. Would recommend getting the veal pie as well. The only thing that let the evening down was that we didn’t have any cash to leave a big tip.

This wine bar is surely the place we can recommend. If you are looking to try some good wine this is the place for you. What makes this place better than others is the staff working there. They ask you, what you are looking for in wine and they bring you exactly what you want. You can tell by the way they are telling you about the wine, that they are really passionate about the wine. They also play some good music too ?

Fantastic wine bar. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable without being too pushy and remembered us from the previous day when we returned. Great spot for a drink or two.
