Without a doubt one of the best places in Porto! Miguel is a wonderful chef, affectionate food. Mandatory stop for every visitor I know

So grateful to have discovered this little gem. This kind of authentic restaurant has become rarer in Porto over the last years.

What makes it so special, besides the fantastic food, is the fact that Miguel runs this restaurant as a one-man show. He stands behind the kitchen and serves all the tables. Dinner started with a delicious fish soup, and then I chose the “polvo cozido” (boiled octopus), which was super fresh and delicious.
For dessert I chose the “pudim” which was also delicious!

I will definitely be back. Don’t be set back by the 60-70’s style interior design. The food is authentic, everything homemade and fresh for very fair prices.

Unfortunately my phone’s battery was empty, so couldn’t take pics.

The wine is excellent, the octopus is elastic and tough. Good fish soup. Location a little noisy.

Very very good meal, fresh, typical and authentic. There were 7 of us and we ate really well, everything was really delicious! Bring cash because the restaurant does not take credit cards.

Cozy home style cooking. Great friendly service. It is small so you really need to get a reservation.

What a wonderful experience.I went without knowing where I was going... taken by a friendly couple but the promise was to eat well.It was even better than that.An unbelievable experience.A restaurant, which is an institution... faithful to a typical restaurant, which I believe has changed little since its opening. We started with the fish soup, which was divine. The food is all wonderful, so much so that we couldn't even choose, we ordered a little of each (veal, rabbit, neck and short rib) and I can't even say which was the best. I remember the taste of veal, which fell apart perfectly. We finished with a wonderful chocolate mousse.Real food. A friendly owner and a space that I hope will last over time.I will certainly be back.
