It's a secret;-) Mr. Carlos is a restoration genius and, now with Mane, his daughter, they make a wonderful duo.
Veal rice, hake rice with shrimp and coriander, black pork secretions or chicken muamba... you name it. There is no chance of failure.
As for desserts, I would say: chocolate mousse cake or sericaia...among many others.
Visiting regularly ;-)
PS: the prices are more than adequate: €15/person and have a party

Great experience! My family and I ate spectacular food and was very well served, they served us very kindly! The environment is full of handmade art, books and also a typewriter and a radio.
I also add that: The man (whose name I didn't ask) bought Iron Maiden's wine, which I showed interest in and said I liked the band, and then he played "Fear of the Dark" and I had a delicious dinner listening to the sound by Iron Maiden. A dream becoming reality.

Super good food, with quality and enough to be satisfied! Fast and super friendly service, welcoming atmosphere, arts and culture surrounded by walls and music (iron maiden among others) with good sound while eating, I loved the experience of eating and enjoying this unique space!! I want to go back without a doubt!!

The most delicious place in all of Porto, its dishes are careful, delicate and exquisite. Their portions are substantial and generous.
The costs are quite affordable and the service is wonderful. The biggest reason to visit Portugal.

Friendly and helpful people run this place. The atmosphere is lively without being noisy. The house red is very good. Our first 2 dishes were very good but we were disappointed in the cod braz style as the cod was a bit too salty for us. (We have had it before in other restaurants and loved the dish).
