I didn’t feel very welcome here, the server would walk to and from my table saying things in Portuguese I did not understand, whether he was talking to myself, to himself, or making random loud commentary I have no idea. Food was ok, wouldn’t go back

Such a lovely time with excellent, authentic Portuguese food! Plus the house wines were both great tasting and a fantastic bargain. :)

Delicious food, but those chairs are not very comfortable, so at least put a cushion on them.

A very nice and quaint family restaurant tucked away on a quiet street. The ambiance is warm and intimate. I had the beef steak with potatoes and vegetables in onion sauce, followed by a slice of the lemon pie and tarta whiskey. The steak was very tender and moist, and I was able to slice it with little effort. It just melts in your mouth with little chewing. The vegetables were cooked to perfection, with the side of cabbage being cold and delicious as a compliment. I'm a big fan of lemon desserts, but the tarta whiskey was the definite winner in this selection with it being cold, like a slice of ice cream cake. The lemon pie was perfect with just the right amount of zest without being too much or overpowering. I chased down my meal with a smooth Super Brock beer.

A million times better than any big name restaurant. The service is unbeatable, the waiter was very friendly all the time, the food was incredible, as if your mother or grandmother cooked it, very good! And the atmosphere is calm! When I went there weren't many people. It felt authentic the entire time, the food, the service and the place! I recommend it!

We ate at Restaurante Cheirinho twice on our visit to Porto and very much enjoyed both meals. A very relaxed feel in the restaurant, with good service and very good food at a good price.
