A very nice and quaint family restaurant tucked away on a quiet street. The ambiance is warm and intimate. I had the beef steak with potatoes and vegetables in onion sauce, followed by a slice of the lemon pie and tarta whiskey. The steak was very tender and moist, and I was able to slice it with little effort. It just melts in your mouth with little chewing. A million times better than any big name restaurant. The service is unbeatable, the waiter was very friendly all the time, the food was incredible, as if your mother or grandmother cooked it, very good! And the atmosphere is calm! When I went there weren't many people. It felt authentic the entire time, the food, the service and the place! I recommend it!
We ate at Restaurante Cheirinho twice on our visit to Porto and very much enjoyed both meals. A very relaxed feel in the restaurant, with good service and very good food at a good price.
