Perfect location: not in the crowdy old town, you are still next to the ocean hence not too windy. Perfect service: everybody is nice, smiles and speaks english well. Perfect kitchen: the dishes were delicious so much and made from fresh, quaity ingredients. Well equipped patio with outdoor heating, it was so nice that we did not have to hurry after dinner because of the lower temperature. High-level catering and hospitality! Everybody should try who wants to enjoy a “Michelin star - like” experience. 5 stars!

The location and atmosphere is fantastic but the food and the service is very underwhelming for that level of restaurants. The quality of the ingredients are great but the taste falls flat. Quite disappointing. Avoid the kids menu as you will be served a pasta with plain tomato sauce (straight out of a can) and will be charged 20€ (with soup and desert). There are plenty of lower budget restaurants in Porto that put much more passion and love in their food.

Had dinner not at the flor de lis but at a the vila foz (gourmet restaurant 1 Michelin star), it’s divine! The food was excellent, the presentation super nice and the wine pairing very surprising and original, tasted wine types I never had before and which were really enhancing the food and vice versa. Little gift at the end with the description of the dinning experience is a nice and useful touch. Very highly recommend

My dinner tonight was amazing. I have never had fried octopus. It was unbelievably tender and accompanied by basmati rice with grilled octopus. Fir a starter, the salmon ceviche with salmon roe was as tasty as any ceviche I have had. The staff is so accomdating and the wine list is extensive. Put this one on your list. Its out of the way, in Foz, but worth coming.

The place, atmosphere and food were amazing…. But there is a but…
They should have more people serving in the outside. They take some time to serve you and take the order forward.
On top of that, the main guy (the moustache guy) that served us, was, what I use to call, “a smart guy” and he made a lot of mistakes. - brought our wine and forgot to served it (waiting time more than 7/8 min); - We chose one bottle of wine with the name Dona Isabel (20€) and he brought us one bottle with the name QUINTA DONA ISABEL (of 45€… without confirming if it was the right one - and you could imagine that when the bill came it was very disappointing to understand that); - He took long to brought us the coffees , and when i asked him for them he said that they were preparing to come out with the desserts. After all, he brought in first place the desserts and after the coffees ??♂️
No comments. With a beautiful and charming place like this you need more and efficient people working.
