Had the lamb and mushroom risotto and both were so delicious. Fabulous service and the room is so comfortable. Chocolate and almond dessert is fantastic! Highly recommend.
Very good food in calm and historic ambience. Attentive waiters and high quality food. Perfect experience.
Vegetarian options: Overall the menu is very small as usual in very good restaurants, but you get for each course of the menu at least one veg. option

Almost three hours to eat a dish and a dessert, everything looks very good, but really bad, lousy service, food with very strange flavors... I do not recommend it... It is also not

What a fabulous find. Marcos the waiter was outstanding. The food was one of the best in Portugal, and the price and wine didn’t insult you intelligence. Our second time to Porto and this was a delight. We are rebooking to test the rest of the menu.
Excellent everything was perfect!Pleasantly surprised by the setting, and the quality of the dishes.Special mention for the desserts which are excellent and very well presented. Best cod in Porto.

It just reopened after the pandemic, and it was a very strange feeling that we experienced last night. It has not lost at all, neither the charm, the service, nor of course the quality of the dishes they offer, but seeing the empty dining room caused us a devastating feeling. We want to think that what is failing them is communication, since we cannot understand it in any other way.Encourage the Management to give it a spin, since it would be a shame if they have to close due to lack of diners.Much encouragement

We had a great time, and the food was also very good! The ambience is romantic and we loved it. The only reason we give it a four-star is because it was hard to watch Denia who is amazing by the way I struggle trying to wait on every table, with very little help. Somehow I couldn’t believe how she remained with a constant smile and upbeat, trying to keep up and providing an impeccable service. although she was amazing, and I am sure she’s been there for many years and has everything under control, but it would be nice if she had some help.

Unexpectedly good restaurant inside hotel Carrís. We had the rack of lamb and seafood risotto. And a glass each of of Bons Ares. Delish. Elegant. Rejuvenating!
This place was located in the lower level of Hotel Carris where we stayed. There were only a couple other people there when we went but the food was absolutely incredicle and the service was amazing. They have a menu in a variety of languages for all guests. The watermelon feta salad was the best salad ive ever had! The veal was also incredible. Didnt get anything i didnt like
This restaurant opened back up 3 weeks ago since COVID, and it was delicious. The ambience, service and food were amazing. Every dish was great, our favorite included the seafood soup, and the cod.
Was very pleasantly surprised after seeing mediocre google reviews!! Definitely our best meal in Portugal thus far. Attended as a party of 5 and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The sea soup was one of the best seafood bisques I have ever had. Also really enjoyed the cod! Would recommend trying, as it is hidden in a small road, with great and quiet ambiance.
