I came here because the food and space seemed nice . But then the final experience was just bad. The service was very slow, 30-35m to get the couvert ( it was actually the nicest thing in the whole dinner, they outdone themselves only on this moment) but still, 30-35m just to get some bread and olive oil. Then a bit later finally my Ratatouille arrived, and it was a very weird feeling, they cut the ratatouille in small pieces and mounted it in the shape of a burger patty. The texture was just not there, weird eating these bunch of legumes in small square slices.Then we ordered the entrecôte, and the meat was tall and chunky, very chewy and not very tasteful, the spinach were dry and served cold, i love spinach and i could barely eat the first bite i took from what i had in the plate, the potatoes were Ok, from the whole Entrecôte it was the better part.Dessert was also ok, but after such an awful and waiting 25m between anything requested left us annoyed.Also, to the waiters, please leave the water in the table if you’re not going to be around serving them, I understand the point, but it just falls apart when you are not around.I hate doing bad reviews, but i hope that these things can be fixed and my reviews helps the owners know what they’re doing wrong , the space was actually nice and calm, too bad the restaurant experience didn’t match it.

The restaurant is in a hotel (which was a surprise to us) It has a lovely ambience and the staff are very friendly and attentive. There is a limited choice on the menu but everything is cooked to order with quality ingredients, and presented beautifully, although we found it all over seasoned with salt for our palate. With fork -50% it was good value but the higher price we could have paid seemed a little steep.

Service is exceptionally friendly and helpful.On the other hand, the location and atmosphere; on the first floor of the hotel, this is also the breakfast room.Nothing wrong with that, because the food is very tasty, but this is not a sympathetic, cosy, Portuguese eatery.

Food is really good and the service very kind (hence the good rating) one however has to realize that dinner is served in the breakfast restaurant of the hotel (hence the low rating for atmosphere); eg not a nice little couzy Porto restaurant.
We were at this restaurant for an anniversary occasion and we had an absolutely amazing experience. Starting from the initial greeting and further high-level service and quality of food and drink, everything was excellent. We had appetizers, seafood and meat and desserts, and everything was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

We were there for the São João buffet, which was served in the courtyard outside the restaurant. So it was probably very different from a normal meal there. The buffet cost €50 per person and included wine/beer and a glass of port. The food was good, especially the pork sandwiches. The staff were very pleasant and eager. Unfortunately the organisation wasn't so good. Having a barbecue in a completely enclosed courtyard meant that the guests got kippered. We also had to wait half an hour on arrival because they weren't ready.

The food was really excellent! Congratulations to the chef! The service was ok. You can feel that they really do their best but they miss experience. The ambiance was a bit cold and impersonal. You feel to be in the restaurant of a hotel company.
