The restaurant is in a hotel (which was a surprise to us) It has a lovely ambience and the staff are very friendly and attentive. There is a limited choice on the menu but everything is cooked to order with quality ingredients, and presented beautifully, although we found it all over seasoned with salt for our palate. With fork -50% it was good value but the higher price we could have paid seemed a little steep.
Excellent food, genuinely high quality and delicious. Service is exceptionally friendly and helpful.On the other hand, the location and atmosphere; on the first floor of the hotel, this is also the breakfast room.Nothing wrong with that, because the food is very tasty, but this is not a sympathetic, cosy, Portuguese eatery.
Food is really good and the service very kind (hence the good rating) one however has to realize that dinner is served in the breakfast restaurant of the hotel (hence the low rating for atmosphere); eg not a nice little couzy Porto restaurant.
