Excellent food. Had the oxtail croquettes, followed by grilled octopus served with turnip top greens all delicious. Staff attentive. Elegant decor. You feel like you are in an upscale place which could be anywhere so lacking distinctive Oporto feel.

I was in Porto a few weekend ago with my partner for the first time and got recommended Real restaurant and wow! I honestly think it’s one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been too! The service was absolutely incredible, so friendly, so informative and everything came very quickly! I wish I lived in Porto so I could go more often!We had the octopus and croquettes to start which were lovely and then had the pork cheek as a main which you could cut with a spoon, absolutely so tender and delicious!We tried a few desserts as recommended. The desserts were not as good as the other courses but still not bad! Just a little bit dry I would say, but this was a really experience! Absolutely loved it!
