We came by recommendation. There were few people. Friendly staff and giving recommendations. We ate cod and beef, very tasty and generous portions. Very rich and fresh green wine. They gave us cheese as a courtesy on the house.

There were a lot of things missing for this experience to have been better. The food was the most boring I have tried yet on this trip. No flavor at all. It was rise and fries on top of some boring meat. My friend found metal in the food. Probably from cleaning the grill. The servers were staring at us the whole time we were in there. Like we were zoo animals. Also the tv was on full sound. And you would expect with bad food it would be cheap. Nope it was I expensive compared to all the good food places we got. Overall would not recommend this for my fellow tourist. It is a scam.

Don’t trust the bot reviews!!! This place is a scam! Do not eat the bread and the butter that they place for you on the table. They charge like 12 Euros for it without even asking you. The also charge 0.9 Euros for every butter you use. Total scam artists! The food was mediocre at best.
This was definitely a good choice of a typical Portuguese restaurant! The dishes were confectioned properly, were authentic and delicious. The service was excellent too! We had the privilege of meeting and chatting to Senhor Zé and he even kindly offered us some Porto wine to drink for free! The only thing to point out were the prices which were more on the expensive side for Portuguese standards but overall definitely worth it!
