Small, hot place. Regular food. They charged 7€ for 50cl of popular wine! Just a scheme. Outrageous! Stay away!
Stumbled across this place as it was near our hotel and really glad we found it, delicious traditional Portugese food for a great price. The menu lists all the ingredients in the dishes which is really useful for allergies (lots of gluten free options). Would recommend.
A small charming but busy restaurant- but service was prompt and efficient. Food was tasty and I really enjoyed the cold sangria on a warm afternoon. My first introduction to the Padron peppers - indeed these are great grilled and sprinkled with a little salt.
We happened upon this little place which was close to our hotel and near the Campanha train station. The service was excellent, friendly and welcoming and kudos to the woman who looked after us managing to communicate between us with knowledge of English/Spanish/Portuguese language. The food was great including delicious bifana and some marinated bacalhau. Delicious wine and the bill was also incredibly cheap (17 euro for 3 dishes and a 1/2 litre of wine). One of our favourite meals in Porto!
We recently had dinner here as part of our vacation in Porto- We decided to eat at this restaurant as it’s gets good reviews in Trip Advisor and it was situated near our hotel. Once we entered the restaurant, we were warmly greeted by the owner.-For our meal, we had a small number of tapas plates- Octopus, a Cheese/Ham board, croquettes, Ham on Bruschetta & a Chorizo sausage which you cook yourself on a small fire- All the dishes was very tasty. The overall cost of the meal for 3x adults with alcoholic drinks was €70 which I thought was exceptional value for money. Lastly as the restaurant is very small, it’s recommended to book a table in advance. Overall I enjoyed my meal and if I visit this part of Porto again, I would consider eating at this restaurant.
We ate there twice on our recent trip to Porto. The food was cheap and really good. It is popular with locals and very small so had to wait for a table both times but it was worth the wait.
Seemed super authentic and old school to me! Friendly, delicious, seemed like mostly locals. Hard to believe all that great food comes out of that tiny kitchen. And a shot of aguardente with honey to finish things off. Muito bom!
A very traditional place, with excelent food, friendly service and low prices. A Showroom of traditional portuguese food in a small place. A place to return....
