First cafe/pastry shop we go to in Porto and it already sets the bar very high. The service at first seemed a little dry to me but I quickly changed my mind, the girl was very nice. The food more than good. In short, a cafe that you cannot miss.

In Porto, there are at least a thousand pastry shops, most selling similar items. Prices might spike a bit near tourist spots, but generally, they don't differ much—though the taste and texture can vary significantly.

São Jorge Bakery and Pastry is a very local shop, but the quality of food is the best I've experienced in Porto. Trust me, I've sampled goods from no fewer than five other well-rated bakeries on Google Reviews, all scoring around 4.4 with hundreds of reviews. None compare to São Jorge Bakery and Pastry.

We went on a trip and stayed nearby.Highly recommended!!!I don't put more stars because it's not possible.Out of 3 days, we had breakfast there on 2, and because it was closed on Sunday... what if not too Marvelous. Quality price, attention, service.
