We arrived there and ordered food. Only then did I read the reviews. I was quite stressed thinking we would be ripped off.. but it wasn t the case at all. 3 main course, 2 desserts and beverages for 50€. Sure, it s maybe on the higher end of what one could expect, but it s also in a very central place. The waitresses were really friendly, food arrived quickly. Nothing to complain about

Great discovery at Sabores da Invicta in Praça de Almeida Garrett! Their Cream, Alegría or Aliados cakes are a "must try". In the three days we spent in Porto we visited the place four times. The service is also excellent. We highlight the kindness and closeness of Lucas—what a great person!—and Felipe's service, too.
If you pass by there, don't hesitate to have a drink. It's so worth it!

Don’t stop here.
Food is not fresh, has gone stale in the window & is disappointing.
I ordered coffee & was told there is a problem with the water (????) so I couldn’t have coffee.
First I tried to order inside & was told to sit at a table & wait for the waiter. The waiter was busy, so I sat for a long time.
After eventually being served, I asked to pay with card, which I had seen other people do, & suddenly the waiter was deaf / didn’t speak English & he took the machine away and handed me a paper bill. I waited some more & decided to just leave a €10 so I could leave. Instantly the waiter appeared to claim it & thank me for the tip that he did not deserve.
Meanwhile 2 men yelled at each other for a long time, with other people intervening. They shoved each other a bit. Not a nice place to sit.
Kid-friendliness: It’s not.

It is a little gem in the heart of Porto, almost in front of the Sao Bento station. Because it was summer there were thousands of people but still the service is fast and flowing. We had breakfast here and tried the francesihna and it was amazing. Everything is super delicious and at a fair price. I recommend it ?

The staff were quite attentive. However, the boss was extremely rude, refused to resolve a situation that was generated by him, called the customers liars and even refused to hand over the complaints book. A place not to be returned to, completely aimed at tourists and dismissive of city staff.

Good place to have a coffee and eat some typical sweets or traditional salty food. In our case, the medieval ball did not disappoint us, as did the service, which was very attentive and friendly.

If you like sweets with extremes of sugar, this is your place.
For those who like balanced flavors, I don't recommend it.
Great service, but I didn't like the pistachio croissant. In addition to the croissant being old, the filling could only taste of sugar, for those who like it very, very sweet, you will love it.

I went in because there was a place where you could eat at the square in front of São Bento Station at 10 am. While waiting, I looked at the reviews and was nervous because there were a lot of bad reviews, but in the end, I was satisfied. The server was cheerful and friendly and I was satisfied with the food. It's inevitable that the food here is generally salty, so you can only eat it by neutralizing it with potatoes and juice. There were a lot of negative comments about calculation errors, so I was nervous while calculating, but there was nothing wrong.
Nice to have experienced Francezina, which I was curious about!!
