We were in Porto for 3 days and we went here for lunch/dinner every day. We tried 2 other restaurants in the city center and came to conclusion that Sai Cao is unbeatable. The food here is so delicious and very cheap. We could not find anywhere in Porto having the generous portion and high quality dishes like Sai Cao. We tried all dishes of the day and they are all delicious.
We felt so lucky that we found this restaurant. The staff are so nice and they can speak English...

The site is spectacular. The waiter knew how to bring the dishes we wanted without having to say anything. It seemed like he had psychic powers. We haven't even left the sardine skins behind. A resounding success.

Not an attractive storefront, but one of the best addresses in terms of quality/price/generosity. And what's more, the waiter speaks French.
Arriving at 12:15 p.m., there were 2 places left. By the time it was time to eat, the queue continued.
